Dreams Are Possible
Randy Jurado Ertll and Sopheap Ly both wrote a book about their lives. He was born in the United States. He and his mother were deported to El Salvador when he was eight months old, because his mother was an illegal refugee. Sopheap Ly was born in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Her life changed during the brutal Khmer Rouge regime from 1975-79. She found refuge in Thailand and at age 16, arrived in America. Both persons had similar situations. They wanted to get out of dangerous places. They worked towards theirs goals for a better life. They each are a good example of following your dreams. They show that whatever you want to do, you can do it.
